The PCA Bookstore, a ministry of Christian Education and Publications, is pleased to announce the following changes:

On  July 6, 2010, CEP increased the discounts offered on retail books published by five of its leading publishers.  CEP previously discounted these books between 20% and 30% (depending on the quantity purchased).  However, in recognition of CEP’s mission in the PCA and in an effort to encourage PCA churches and members to continue to look to CEP as “their resource” for Christian, Reformed, and Kingdom-oriented material, CEP further increased these discounts to 25% - 50%.  The Bookstore staff is available to consult with churches and individuals regarding the best material for personal and group study and the website is continually being enhanced to provide better convenience for online browsing and ordering.

Effective August 1, 2010.  PCA churches which give at least 50% of CEP’s “Ministry Ask”¹ will be entitled to free shipping.  CEP appreciates the faithful support of PCA churches and desires to strengthen the relationship with churches that both support the ministry and buy materials, as well.  CEP depends on both contributions and sales in order to continue ministering in the PCA and beyond.  Limited terms will apply to the offer and such are listed below.²

¹ CEP’s “Ministry Ask” is $7 per communicant member per year.

² CEP will determine the churches eligibility based on its prior years’ reported statistics to the Stated Clerk’s office.  If giving commences toward the “Ministry Ask” within the current year the church will also be made eligible for the benefit.  Churches which meet the criteria will be issued a coupon code which must be entered on each web order or given with each phone order. Only PCA churches located in the U.S.A. will be eligible for the full value of the benefit.  Canadian and other international churches will pay the differential of the international rates.  A church’s eligibility for the benefit does not extend to a bookstore operated by the church nor personal or individual accounts.  Offer excludes hymnals and other items which must be drop shipped from the publisher.  All orders with “free” shipping will be sent by USPS Media Mail and may be upgraded to UPS Ground at the discretion of the CEP staff.  Additional costs for faster delivery will be the responsibility of the church. Orders must be at least $20 to qualify.
